Will (extract)

Will (extract) by which Gaspar Fernandes declares that he has an agreement with the religious of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa and they are obliged to say a perpetual weekly mass for his soul. He adds that he gave them a public debt instrument of 4000 réis in the Alfândega de Lisboa as payment, and he requires his descendants to verify if this charge is being accomplished.
