Contract and bond deed by which João Bernardes, also called Fernandes, escrivão da descarga do paço da Madeira, and his wife, Isabel Dias, entail their houses in S. Miguel de Alfama, Lisboa, with an obligation of five masses for the soul of Antónia Martins, fulfiling her will. One of the houses already had a mass entailed to it.

Will (extract) by which Antónia Martins, wife of Francisco Brás, orders the acquisition of houses to entail to an obligation of five annual masses for her soul. She wants these houses to be given to João Bernardes and his wife, Isabel Dias. Their revenue shall be used to sustain their daughter, Ana de Santa Maria, nun in the convent of Santa Clara of Lisboa, during her lifetime. After her death, the entail shall pass to the couple's other heirs.
