Certificate of a sale, quittance, and obligation deed and sentence regarding the fulfillment of the will of D. Margarida Forjaz, previous administrator of the chapel established by capitão António Barroso, issued at the request of the priests of the monastery of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa.

Sale, quittance, and obligation deed by which Bartolomeu de Gouveia, que vive de sua fazenda, sells his farmlands in Alfragide to doutor frei Fradique Spínola, definidor da Congregação de S. Bernardo do mosteiro de Nossa Senhora do Desterro, heir and executor of his deceased aunt, D. Margarida Forjaz, daughter of capitão António Barroso. Following the will of his aunt, dated 1690-10-06, frei Fradique Spínola entails these farmlands to the chapel established by António Barroso, thus replacing the houses previously entailed by the institutor, which had been sold by D. Margarida because they were ruined.
Contains exemplification of partition deed, petition and dispatch and certificate of payment of sisa.

Will by which capitão António Barroso, cavaleiro do hábito de Cristo, designates his wife, D. Isabel Forjaz, as his universal heir. He orders three annual masses for his soul in the altar of Nossa Senhora da Piedade of the monastery of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of Lisboa, entailed to his houses near the convent of S. Francisco.
Followed by approval deed, dated 1615-05-29.
