Will

Will by which Inês Ribeiro, António Ramos' widow, bequeaths houses in Rua do Norte, Lisboa, to her sister, Luísa Leda, determining that she and her descendants should support the celebration of a weekly mass in the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo of that city for her soul. Her sister should appoint the entail's next administrator or transmit it to her son, João Álvares, if he is alive at the time of her death. The testator declares that her body should be buried in the chapel of S. Roque of that convent, where lies her mother, Inês Ribeiro (a Velha). Followed by an approval deed issued on 1611-06-19.
