Agreement deed

Agreement deed between Doutor Eugénio Cabreira, executor of Leonor Fernandes' will, and Diogo Romeiro (o moço), on his behalf, of Paula Pedroso, his wife, and Diogo Romeiro (o velho), his father, regarding the validity of the wills made by Leonor Fernandes and the institution of her chapel. Diogo Romeiro considers her grandmother's first will valid and decides to entail the houses in Rua da Figueira, Lisboa, which he had inherited from her, to Leonor Fernandes' chapel, since the third part of her assets is not enough to pay the debts and to support the celebration of annual masses. He also declares that Padre Manuel de Góis should be the chapel's first administrator, being succeeded by Diogo and his descendants. Doutor Eugénio Cabreira aproves it and donates 150 000 réis to Luísa, the dead woman's granddaughter, with the purpose of helping her to marry or to become a nun.
