Acceptance deed by which Afonso Pires contracted with the priests of the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Piedade to celebrate masses for the soul of the institutor Domingos Manso de Carvalho and his wife Isabel Fernandes. Due to the fact that Isabel Fernandes died without fulfil her late husband's obligations, Afonso Pires was nominated to be its administrator. He gave to the priests 400 000 réis in exchange of the mortgage of a "casal" composed of vineyards and olive groves, that belonged to the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Piedade de Azeitão, in Setúbal.

He declared that his wife should buy an orchard, olive grove or other property to use for the celebration of perpetual masses wherever she wanted. Followed by an approval deed dated 1634-05-11 and an opening deed dated 1635-11-09.
