Certificate issued by Frei Afonso de Monroy, sacristão-mor of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, certifying that the administrator of the chapel established by Ascêncio Nunes Tomé has the obligation of ordering nine annual masses on the nine holidays of the Virgin. He entailed to this obligation houses in Lisboa. The masses were prayed from 1672 to 1684 by the administrator António Nunes de Sousa.

Will (extract) by which Ascênsio Nunes Tomé orders nine annual masses for his soul in the days of the Virgin, to be prayed in the altar of Nossa Senhora da Piedade of the church of Santíssima Trindade, where he wishes to be buried. He orders his heir to buy properties to entail to this obligation.
