Apostille on public debt instrument in favour of Luís Álvares Ramires and Maria Cordovil, who had given part of their public debt instrument to their daughter, D. Guiomar de Sousa, as her dowry. The public debt instrument had been divided in instruments set in the Alfândega of Lisboa, in the Casa da Sisa do Pescado and in the Casa da Imposição do Sal.

Composition deed

Composition deed between Maria Cordovil, widow of Luís Álvares Ramires, and her sons, Diogo Álvares Ramires, husband of D. Isabel Caldeira, and António de Sousa, after the death of their father. Luís Álvares had bought 24 000 réis of interest to entail to a daily mass established by his older brother, Ramiro Álvares, in the chapel of Nossa Senhora dos Poderes of the monastery of Anunciada. Diogo Álvares Ramires is appointed administrator of this chapel by his mother, who bequeaths him the entailed public debt instrument, set in the Casa do Pescado to which she and her husband had also entailed another obligation of weekly masses for their own souls. This entail should pass to his successors.

Sale, quittance, and obligation deed by which António Mendes, executor of his deceased wife, Maria Rodrigues, buys a public debt instrument of 10 000 réis in the Real de Água of Lisboa from Diogo Álvares Ramires, to entail to the obligation of masses established by his wife in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade.
Diogo Álvares Ramires is the administrator of the chapel established by his uncle, Ramiro Álvares, in the church of Anunciada of Lisboa. The public debt instrument he sold was made with money redeemed from another public debt instrument which was entailed to this chapel and to an obligation of a weekly mass for the souls of Diogo's parents: Maria de Cordovil de Sousa and Luís Álvares Ramires.
Contains letters-of-attorney and documentation regarding the acquisition of the public debt instrument by Diogo Álvares Ramires, namely a public debt instrument and two apostilles, a composition deed, an exemplification of a will and a resignation deed.

Will by which Maria Cordovil bequeaths 10 000 réis of interest to her son, Diogo Álvares Ramires, who she appoints as her executor and universal heir. He must give this money to his sister, Sóror Francisca de S. Boaventura, during her lifetime, and afterwards they will be freed.
Followed by resignation deed by Sóror Francisca de S. Boaventura, refusing the public debt instrument, which was sold through the deed of sale VINC007876 RA EA/002a.
