Contract and bond deed

Contract and bond deed by which Gaspar da Cunha, fidalgo da Casa do Rei, administrator of the chapel of his brother, Vasco da Cunha, accepts the establishment of the Confraria of Nossa Senhora da Salvação in his brother's chapel, which had the invocation of Nossa Senhora da Porta Coeli, under the condition that none of its members can be buried there, and that they share the costs of its maintenance, namely the building of the altarpiece.

Termo de juramento by which Gaspar da Cunha, administrator of the chapel established by his brother, Vasco da Cunha, declares under oath that he only possesses 100 000 réis of interest and a farmland in Montemor-o-Novo from the properties of his brother, as they had been divided between him and his widow, D. Joana da Silva.
Followed by undated sentence establishing the amount of masses and the amount of money necessary to fulfill them and to maintain the chapel.

Will chart

Will chart by which Vasco da Cunha, fidalgo da Casa do Rei, orders the foundation of a chapel in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade, in the place where his parents are buried. He entails to it the properties he inherited from his brothers, Manuel and António da Cunha, and the ones given to him by his other brother, Cristóvão da Cunha. He designates Cristóvão da Cunha as his executor and first administrator of his chapel, and their brother, Gaspar da Cunha, after Cristóvão's death. The chapel shall then pass to his successors.
Followed by approval deed and opening deed of the will, dated 1568-03-01.
