Dispatch in favour of Gaspar Gonçalves, serralheiro, who had been appointed administrator of the chapel established by Helena Gonçalves, reducing, at his request, the obligations of this chapel to one weekly mass, since the properties entailed to it weren't enough to fulfill all the obligations established in the institutor's will.

Mandate

Mandate by the licenciado António Dias, do Desembargo do Rei e ouvidor dos Feitos e Capelas, ordering that Gaspar Gonçalves, serralheiro, be given possession of a property in Sintra bought for the chapel established by Helena Gonçalves, as he had been appointed administrator of the chapel by a son of the institutor, who was a friar in Belém.

Will chart

Will chart by which Helena Gonçalves, widow of de Cosme Dias Piloto, expresses her wish to be buried the chapel of Chagas of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa. She bequeaths her son, António Dias, her houses in Lisboa, with an obligation of two weekly masses and other annual masses for her and her husband's soul. If the houses can't be entailed, since they are leased, she orders him to sell them and buy properties to entail in their place. She also appoints him as tutor of his minor brother, Antão Gonçalves. Followed by approval deed and opening deed of the will, dated 1549-11-08.
