Apostolic sentence issued by doutor António Soares de Pina, desembargador e vigário-geral no arcebispado de Lisboa, confirming the contract by which the priests of the convent of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa sold the chancel of their church and its patronage to Duarte de Albuquerque Coelho, capitão e governador de Pernambuco, and to his wife D. Joana de Castro, who promised to pay the construction of their chapel and burial place and the pious obligations entailed to it.

Contract and bond deed by which D. Miguel de Castro, inquisidor, as attorney of his brother-in-law and sister, Duarte de Albuquerque Coelho, governador de Pernambuco, and D. Joana de Castro, receives the chancel of the church of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, for their chapel and burial place, together with its patronage. He promises, in their name and the name of their successors, to build its tribunes, ornament it and maintain it, and to give 100 000 réis of interest to the convent to have two daily masses and three annual divine offices for their souls.
