Termo de declaração

Termo de declaração by which Apolónia João, wife of Manuel Fernandes, mestre da Carreira da Índia, absent from the country, declares that António Teixeira had established a chapel in the convent of Nossa Senhora de Jesus of Lisboa. He appointed his minor daughter, Maria Teixeira, as administrator of his chapel. She was in possession of the houses in Beco das Tábuas, Lisboa, which had been bought for the chapel. Apolónia João also declares that António Teixeira's will would be in the archive of Estêvão Barreira, escrivão do Juízo Eclesiástico.

Termo de juramento

Termo de juramento by which Manuel Fernandes swears he doesn't know the location of António Teixeira's will, even though he made diligences next to the Juízo Eclesiástico to locate it. He knows that his chapel had an obligation of three weekly masses in the monastery of Nossa Senhora de Jesus, that the institutor had died around 1601 to 1602, and that houses in Beco das Tábuas had been bought to entail to his chapel, with the revenue he left.
