Termo de declaração

Termo de declaração by which the priests of Santo Estêvão de Alfama and padre João da Fonseca, prioste and beneficiado in the church of Santa Maria Madalena, confirm Maria Alves' declarations regarding the chapel of her aunt, Bárbara Fernandes, and that they have registered the fulfilment of the obligations in their registry book. The masses had been paid while Maria Alves was in possession of the entailed properties, however they were currently in the hands of Francisco da Rocha, son of Antónia Martins, Bárbara Fernandes's niece and heir, who hadn't paid the last three years of alms. Bárbara Fernandes is said to have been deceased for about nine years.

Termo de juramento

Termo de juramento by which Maria Alves, widow of Manuel Gomes, gives an account of the administration of the chapel founded by her aunt, Bárbara Fernandes, to the provedor das Capelas. She declares her aunt had bequeathed her a store in Alfama, Lisboa, with an obligation of three annual masses in the church of Santo Estêvão, where she was buried. She always paid the obligations while she was in possession of the store, but she didn't have the will of the deceased, since it was in the hands of her executor, who was absent in Angola.
