Contract and bond deed by which Simão Gonçalves de Figueiroa, cavaleiro professo da ordem de Cristo, represented by Manuel Vidal Coutinho, buys the chapel of Mártires from the priests of the church of S. Roque, to use as his chapel and burial place. He promises to pay for the obligations he established, as well as his successors, and the priests promise to fulfil them. If his administrator's succession is extinguished, it shall pass to the priests of the noviciado da Cotovia, who will administer it or appoint a future administrator.
Contains a letter-of-attorney.

Will (extract) by which Simão Gonçalves de Figueiroa bequeaths all of his properties, consisting of houses in Lisboa, Caselas and Vale de Pereiro, as an entail, to his godson, Baltasar, son of Manuel Vidal and Maria Carvalho, appointing his father as his tutor during his minority. He orders the acquisition of the chapel of Mártires in the church of S. Roque of Lisboa, to use as his chapel and burial place, with an obligation of a daily mass. His godson shall be the first administrator, and his successors afterwards. If he has no descendants the entail will pass to the priests of S. Roque.
