Motion

Motion by which the rents of the houses located in São Lázaro, Lisboa, were confiscated until new order of the Juízo das Capelas.

Warrant

Warrant to confiscate the rents of some houses in São Lázaro, incorporated into Manuel de Brito's chapel.

Will (extract)

Will (extract) by which Manuel de Brito established an entail, designating his legitimized son Jorge de Brito to be its first administrator. The institutor wanted to be buried in the same place of his parents and grandparents in the Church of the Convent of São Vicente de Fora and he ordered the celebration of masses for his soul in this church. He also designated his son Jorge de Brito to succeed in another entail he administrated in the Church of Santiago de Urra, using the rents of a "herdade" in Alcaradiça, on the outskirts of Redondo. If his son died childless, it should succeed his granddaughter D. Isabel de Mendanha, daughter of Jorge de Brito, with the same obligations but, if he had a son, this entail should be succeeded by him. This entail is composed of a "casal" in Belém and somes houses in São Lázaro, in Lisboa.
