Licence

Licence given to D. Maria da Silva by the priests of the convent of Santíssima Trindade of Santarém to transfer the body of her husband, D. Diogo de Meneses, former governador do Brasil, from his chapel of S. Brás, which he had established in ther convent, to another chapel in the convent of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa. The priests renounce any rights they had regarding the former institution, refuse the obligation of masses ordered by D. Diogo and his wife and the public debt instrument entailed to it, and declare the chapel of S. Brás free to give to another person of their choice.
