Will (extract)

Will (extract) by which Maria Correia de Salema declared that she had some public debt instruments in Alfândega de Lisboa, bought from the assets left by her husband Pedro Godinho, with the obligation to order the celebration of masses. The institutor wanted to give this public debt instruments to her second husband Estevão Monteiro with the obligation to order the celebration of masses in the Monastery of São Francisco, in Alcácer do Sal or in Lisboa. By her death, her husband could give this assets to whomever he wanted and she nominated him in some "prazos" and "foros" that she possessed in the "herdade" of Vale de Ferreira and that were given to her by her aunt Leonor Carreira, also with the obligation to order the celebration of masses.
