Contract and bond deed

Contract and bond deed by which António Dias Tinoco buys the chapel of Santo Ambrósio, which formerly belonged to Ambrósio Fernandes Godinho, from the priests of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa. The chapel had been seized by the convent for lack of fulfilment of the obligations by its last administrator, Gonçalo Lobo de Mesquita. António Dias Tinoco promises to entail to the chapel a public debt instrument for a daily mass for his soul. The priests of the convent accept and promise to pray the masses.
Followed by the letter of possession of the chapel by António Dias Tinoco.
Contains processual documentation regarding the seizure of the chapel by the convent, namely a carta de arrematação, a letter of possession and sentences.

Tinoco, António Dias (flor.1616)
