Declaration deed by the priests of the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora declared that they contracted with D. Leonor de Noronha for the payment of the chapel's pious obligations. Followed by a declaration deed dated 1493-02-24.

Sentence

Sentence by which it was declared that, in 1378, Leonor Gomes de Azevedo, wife of Micer Bartolomeu, almirante, ordered in her last will that she wanted to donate to her sister Mécia Gomes her assets, with the obligation to order the celebration of masses in the Church of the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora. The institutor wanted to use the assets left by her father Gonçalo Gomes de Azevedo and sister Teresa Correia's death to establish this entail. After the death of Mécia Gomes, this entail was succeed by Gonçalo Vasques de Melo, o Velho, and by Gonçalo Vasques de Melo, o Moço. This last administrator contracted with priests of the Monastery for the celebration of masses ordered by the institutor. Gonçalo Vasques de Melo, o Moço, had a minor son Vasco Martins, and he chose Estevão Vasques to be his tutor and administrator. However, he did not pay the celebration of masses to the priest of the Monastery and they now wanted to use the assets of Gonçalo Vasques de Melo's children for its payment.

Sentence

Sentence by which it was confirmed the reduction of the pious charges of the chapels of Leonor Gomes de Azevedo and João Fernandes, cavaleiro. Leonor Gomes de Azevedo founded a chapel in her last will dated 1378-01-18, with the obligation to celebrate masses for her father Gonçalo Gomes de Azevedo, her mother and her brother's soul, in the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora. It was also declared that it was her mother's will to found a chapel where her husband was buried, because he did not have the chance to found it during his life. This sentence also refers the chapel of João Fernandes, cavaleiro, founded in 1329-04-05 in the Church of São Jorge, with the obligation to celebrate several masses, using the rents of some properties located in Alpriate and Azambujal. This document has inserted an undated papal bull.

Sentence by which it was declared that the administrator D. Leonor de Noronha, wife of Álvaro de Ataíde, owed to the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora the payment of the chapel's pious obligations.
