Deed of sale

Deed of sale by which the administrators Francisco da Cunha and his wife Natália da Maia sold a public debt instrument of 48 711 réis in Casa da Índia to buy some rents. This administrator succeed to his father Doutor Luís Lourenço, the last will executor, as his eldest son. This document has inserted a petição and a sentence dated 1591-08-31.

Will

Will by which Isabel Borges da Grã declared that she wanted to be buried in the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Anunciada where her mother was buried, with the obligation to celebrate masses for her mother's soul. The institutor also asked her last will executor's to sell a public debt instrument that she had in Casa da Índia and some movable goods in order to buy some rents to buy the chapel called "Nome de Jesus" in the same convent and to give 30 000 réis each year to a chaplain. She left some houses and an olival in Xabregas to her last will executor, Luís Lourenço, licenciado, that should nominate his heir or another person to succeed in this administration. Followed by a sentence dated 1539-04-25.
