The houses had been bought with an obligation of five other masses in the same church for the soul of Maria Dias da Herdade. If Domingos Fernandes dies before Cosme Pais, the houses shall pass to his brother, António Fernandes, alfaiate, or to his wife's closest relatives. If they don't accept these obligations, the houses can be sold.
