Contract and bond deed

Contract and bond deed by which the priests of the convent of S. Bento de Xabregas give to D. Violante de Andrade, widow of the conde de Linhares D. Francisco de Noronha, and to her son, D. Fernando de Noronha, and his wife, D. Filipa de Sá, the chancel of their church to serve as their family's burial place. The previous condes de Linhares, D. António and D. Joana de Noronha, and all of their house's descendants, shall also be buried there. The chapel will have an obligation of a daily mass and an annual one for their souls and for Violante de Andrade's soul. They promise to give a public debt instrument worth 70 000 réis to the priests to entail to this obligation. While this donation isn't made, they pledge their houses to them, allowing their entailment. D. Fernando and his wife also pledge the rents of the entail they possess to the fulfilment of this obligation.
