Revocation deed

Revocation deed by which Domingos de Miranda, Beatriz de Torres' widower, revokes part of the will he had made with his wife. He reduces the perpetual pious obligation attached to the farmstead (quinta) of Fartos das Amendoeiras, Apelação, which should be fulfiled in the church of Encarnação for his soul; and the one associated to the houses in Moita, which would be fulfiled in the church of Misericórdia of Lisboa.

Miranda, Domingos de (flor.1653-1654)

Will (extract)

Will (extract) by which Beatriz de Torres and her husband, Domingos de Miranda, establish an entail with their 3 houses in Moita, establishing that whoever owns them should support the celebration of 24 annual masses for their souls in the church of Misericórdia of Lisboa. The houses could never be sold.
