Certificate of a tombo (extract) of the convent of S. Francisco of Beja, regarding the entail which had belonged to Gil Vaz Lobo, issued at the request of his son, Gomes Freire de Andrade.

Tombo (extract) of the convent of S. Francisco de Beja related to the chapel of Gil Martins Rei which had an obligation of three months of masses and an annual mass in the day of the Holy Spirit and was administered by Gil Vaz Lobo.

Will (extract) by which Gil Martins Rei establishes a chapel in the church of the convent of S. Francisco of Beja, in front of the altar of Santo António, with the remaining part of his properties. He designates his brother, Rui Martins, as first administrator, with the obligation of ordering masses for his soul and the souls of their parents. His wife, Maria Mendes, should help him in the administration. After their deaths, the entail should pass to Antão, Rui's son, or to a son of Beatriz Gil.

Will (extract) by which Gil Vaz Raposo, administrator of the chapel founded by Gil Martins Rei, which he inherited from his parents and grandparents, declares that this chapel is entailed to a half of his estate of Quintos, where he lives, to the estate of Tartaria, and to olive groves and vineyards in Fonte de Rui Martins, Beja. After his death, the entail will pass to his son, Bartolomeu Lobo, with an obligation of three trintários of masses in the convent of S. Francisco of Beja.
