Donation deed

Donation deed made by padre Pedro Rodrigues Forte, administrator of the chapel of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, founded by his parents Domingos Rodrigues Forte and Ana Nogueira, annexing lands, houses and other properties to this entail, and mentioning that he made an agreement with the Cabildo of Salvador da Bahia to stablish the chapel's fabric as the mother church of Ilha dos Frades. Through this agreement, the administrators of the entail would henceforth bear the costs of sustaining the new parish vicar, maintaining, however, the perpetual right to appoint him among the family's members or among the island inhabitants.
