Will chart

Will chart by which padre Mateus de Mendonça etablishes a chapel in the church of São Miguel das Lajes, on the outskirts of Praia, on Terceira island, entailing assets to fulfill charges. The charges had to be celebrated by a cleric of the descent of Amaro de Mendonça, brother of the institutor. He appoints Tomé de Mendonça, his nephew, the first administrator of the chapel. His older, legitimate, male son was to succeed him.
