Dowry deed for the marriage of D. Manuel Lobo de Meneses to D. Francisca de Noronha, made by Rui de Carvalho and D. Branca de Meneses, through D. Rodrigo Lobo, Barão of Alvito and D. António de Ataíde, Conde of Castanheira, their attorneys. The dowry of D. Branca consisted of 15 000 cruzados, taken from of the legitimate assets of D. Constança de Noronha, her mother, now deceased, and of D. Maria de Noronha and D. Leonor de Noronha, her sisters. The sum of 11 000 cruzados were given in the form of an entail, to be administrated by the descendants of D. Francisca. D. Manuel's arras consisted of 5 000 cruzados, half paid from the rents of the alcaidarias-mores of Campo Maior and Ouguela. The clauses of the institution of the entail would be defined later in another document.

He entailed a public debt instrument of 352 000 réis, for the fulfillment of charges, celebrated in the monastery of Santo António. The entail would be administered by the descendants of D. Francisca and, in the event of extinction, by the descendants of Rui de Carvalho.
