He received a favourable court sentence after the embargo lifted against him by the Procurador of the Order of Santiago, and succeeds to António Mendes, former administrator.

He would only receive the administration of the chapels during his lifetime with the condition of presenting this warrant and the respective sentences before the Desembargo do Paço, proving that the chapels were vacant to the Crown.
