Acórdão em relação, judging a civil process between the procurador da Coroa, plaintiff, against Manuel de Paiva Botelho, defendant, on the administration of the chapel established by D. Antónia Henriques, in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade, in Lisboa.
The sentence condemns the defendant, since the mercy of the administration made to António Frazão was only in his life, and he could not leave it to his descendants. The chapel is declared vacant for the Crown, ordering the tombo of the assets.

They had sold the properties entailed to it and its public debt instrument, buying with the revenue of the sale a saltern in Setúbal and a farmstead in Alhos Vedros, which had been judged afterwards as belonging to the chapel.

Certificate issued by Manuel de Faria, escrivão do Auditório Eclesiástico da Corte e Relação Metropolitana de Lisboa, in answer to a precatório by doutor João Gonçalves Darécio, desembargador e vigário-geral em Lisboa, to prove that the heirs of D. Antónia Henriques had been excommunicated because they hadn't fulfilled her will. It is declared that the autos of the will of D. Antónia Henriques had been started by her executor, padre mestre Afonso Guerreiro, who had been succeded by licenciado Belchior Martins de Carvalho, provedor dos Resíduos de Lisboa, who had been ordered to pay 600 000 réis to the juízo das Capelas and to transfer the bones of the deceased to her chapel. He had set a motion on this, claiming he wasn't the executor of the deceased, but merely administrator of the chapel, and that the executor was Diogo Mexia. The motion was refused and he was ordered to pay.

Certificate of a will and codicil by D. Antónia Henriques, issued by doutor Cristóvão Galvão, do Desembargo do Rei, juiz de suas coutadas do reino, taken from autos de embargos de Francisco Coelho by which possession was taken of the houses entailed to the chapel of the deceased. It was issued at the request of Luís Ferreira de Mendonça.

Contract and bond deed by which D. Antónia Henriques, widow of Gaspar de Sampaio, formalizes the institution of the masses ordered by her mother-in-law, D. Guiomar de Eça, in the Capela dos Reis of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, which she had founded with her husband. She entails three public debt instruments to this obligation and designates a new visitor for the chapel, since Estêvão Madeira was deceased. The new visitor shall be the minister of the convent of Santíssima Trindade and his successors in that charge. The priests of the convent accept and promise to fulfill the obligations.

Guiomar de Eça, which is administered by D. Antónia Henriques, after Diogo Madeira, cónego da Sé and nephew of the previous visitator, Estêvão Madeira, had renounced this right.

The houses were rented and their income was given to nine merceeiras, who lived in nine houses bequethed by D. Antónia Henriques, but the tenants didn't pay it and the houses were damaged.

Antónia Henriques expresses her wish to be buried in the Chapel of Reis of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade, in Lisboa, which had been established by herself, by her husband, Gaspar de Sampaio and by her father-in-law, Lopo Vaz de Sampaio. She entails a public debt instrument and properties in Elvas, Arraiolos and Évora to an obligation of two daily masses in that chapel, and of keeping nine merceeiras. She also orders masses to be prayed in the churches of S. Francisco de Évora and of S. Francisco de Elvas, for the souls of her parents and sister. She appoints Mestre Afonso Guerreiro and Francisco de Freitas as administrators of her chapel, with the faculty of appointing the next administrator.

Will by which D. Guiomar de Eça, widow of Lopo Vaz de Sampaio, governador da Índia, expresses her wish to be buried in the Capela dos Reis Magos of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa, which she had established with her husband in a previous contract. She declares that she donated all of her properties as a dowry to her son, Gaspar de Sampaio, when he married D. Antónia Henriques, under the condition that he would employ that money in revenue to establish a chapel with annual masses for their souls in the monastery of Santíssima Trindade. She also appoints Estêvão Madeira, cónego da Se de Lisboa, as visitor of her chapel, giving him a pension in exchange for his supervision over it. After his death, the administrator of the entail shall elect the new visitor. She designates her son as administrator of the chapel, and his children afterwards. If he doesn't have any heirs, he shall appoint the next administrator among their relatives.
