Mandate

Mandate issued by Afonso Homem, Juiz e Contador dos Resíduos da Comarca de Trás-os-Montes, regarding the administration of the chapel founded by Álvaro Gonçalves in his will, with a 10 yearly mass obligation. The entailed assets were given by Pedro Gonçalves, abade of that village, to Dinis Pires and Afonso Gonçalves, because he could not own them as a clergyman. Dinis Pires and Afonso Gonçalves administrated the entailed assets without royal permission, but they fulfilled all the obligations and will of the institutor.
