Confirmation letter granted by the king D. João IV to Maria da Costa, D. Pedro da Costa niece and successor of his chapel, confirming the annexation of a public debt instrument in the almoxarifado of Porto bought by Maria da Costa to D. Briolanja.
Contains a letter of pension established by the public debt instrument (1643-03-12), fls. 9v-10.

Followed by the approval deed (1623-03-18), fls. 6-6v and a list of debts (6v).

Will

Will of D. Pedro da Costa, bishop of Angra, appointing his nephew Pantaleão da Costa, son of Miguel da Costa and Maria Pereira de Andrade, as his heir. Pedro da Costa orders that all his estate and movable goods should be sold to acquire a public debt instrument in the almoxarifado of Porto.
Preceded by the opening deed (1625-09-17) (fls. 4-4v) and followed by the approval deed (1623-03-18) (fls. 6-6v) and a list of debts (fl. 6v).

Exemplification of the will of Luísa Pereira de Barros and Manuel Coelho Pereira. Manuel Coelho Pereira declares himself son of D. Maria da Costa, and successor of the entail established by the bishop D. Pedro da Costa. The will mentions the estates acquired by D. Maria as administrator. The couple declares that their elder son, Miguel Pereira de Melo, would be the successor of the entails.
