Apostille on public debt instrument of 40 000 réis given to Sóror Antónia da Trindade, nun in the monastery of Esperança of Lisboa. This money had belonged to her mother, D. Francisca de Vilhena, marquesa de Montalvão, wife of D. Jorge de Mascarenhas, and to her brothers, D. Pedro Mascarenhas and D. Jorge Mascarenhas, bishop of Segóvia, who were absent in Castille. It was given to her after the lifting of the sequestration on the properties of the entail which her parents had inherited, and to which this money belonged.

Contract and bond deed by which the priests of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa give to D. Maria de Sousa, widow of Simão de Melo, represented by her son, Francisco de Melo, the chapel of Chagas of that convent, which Simão de Melo built and decorated, as the family's burial place, and to be the chapel of the entail he founded. D. Maria de Sousa gives them a public debt instrument of 20 625 réis in the Casa da Índia, and the priests promise to pray a daily mass for their souls and the souls of the administrators of Simão de Melo's entail.

Will (extract) by which Simão de Melo declares he built a chapel in the church of the monastery of Santíssima Trindade of Lisboa to use as his family's burial place, and had promised to give the priests 20 000 réis of interest from his and his wife's third parts to fulfill its pious obligations. He appoints his wife as his executor, requesting her to finish the institution of his chapel, and asks their son, Filipe de Melo, to help her in this task.
It is mentioned this will was approved in 1568-11-18 and opened in 1569-02-10.
