Motion set on the properties entailed to the chapel of João Afonso, which was administerd by Guiomar da Conceição, freira in the convent of Santa Catarina de Siena in Évora, for missing the payments.
Followed by account of administration given by the administrator, dated 1584-07-05, and another account dated 1584-07-06, in which It is mentioned she took possession of the properties in April 1579; termo dated 1578-02-05; undated account of administration, dated after 1615, and sentence refusing a motion from an unknown defendant, dated 1656-02-24.

Sentence

Sentence against Francisco da Silva Arrais de Mendonça for charging revenue from the properties entailed to the chapel of Jorge Afonso without giving notice to the convent, and absolving Isabel Dias, previous administrator, from not paying the obligations, as she had proven the chapel had been sold and she didn't possess it.
Preceded by petition from the syndic of the convent, a summary about the process and dispatch dated 1674-06-12.

Will

Will by which João Afonso expresses his wish to be buried in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, in front of the altar of Nossa Senhora da Piedade. He entails his houses in Lisboa with an obligation of 18 annual masses and 3 anniversaries for his soul, a lamp lit in the altar of Nossa Senhora da Piedade, and the construction of a hospital in his houses. He appoints his wife, Beatriz Pires, as first administrator of his chapel and hospital. After her death, the entail shall pass to her brother, Álvaro Pires, or, if he is deceased, to his wife, Branca Afonso, sister of the institutor.
Beatriz Pires is present and declares that she accepts these conditions and promises to fulfill them.
