Acórdão em relação judging a civil process between António Antunes, plaintiff, tutor of João Rodrigues, against the procurador da Coroa and António de Aguiar da Silva, defendants, on the administration of the chapel of Fernando Daires, in Lisbon.
The sentence declares the chapel vacant for the Crown, since the death of João Vieira, last administrator, left none of the founder's relatives. It orders that the chapel be registered in the “Livros das Capelas da Coroa” and in the Torre do Tombo and hands over the administration to the defendant [António de Aguiar da Silva], only during his lifetime, who should request the respective administration letter.

Therefore, he would only receive the administration of the chapel during his lifetime with the condition of presenting this new warrant and a sentence before the Desembargo do Paço, proving that the chapel was vacant to the Crown.

Will chart (extract) by which Fernando Daires entails his houses in Lisboa. He bequeaths them to his wife, Isabel Pires, who he appoints as his universal heir, under the condition that she shall establish a chapel of three weekly masses and two annual masses for their souls in the altar of Nossa Senhora da Conceição of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where they shall be buried. He authorizes the selling of these houses to buy more property for the entail, since they are foreiras. If Isabel Pires doesn't want the obligations, the entail shall be bequeathed to their closest relative and, if no one accepts, the provedor das capelas of the hospital shall chose a person of good conscience to take it.
Followed by aproval deed dated 1581-09-15, but probably from the same day.
