Donation deed

Donation deed by which D. Maria Teixeira, Domingos Lopes Barreto's wife, donates her farmstead (quinta) of Boavista da Mealhada, on the outskirts of Loures, to João Nunes Pais, Moço da Câmara do Rei, with the obligation of celebrating masses in a church to be chosen in her will. This donation should only be made on the condition that João pays off all the debts that D. Maria inherited from her father, her first and second husbands. After João's death, the entail should be transmitted to his wife, Guiomar Barradas, who must be succeeded by one of their children.

Will by which D. Maria Teixeira demands that her remains must be buried in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa, in the grave where lies her husband, Domingos Lopes Barreto, and confirms the donation made to João Nunes Pais. She also entails to the chapel she founded in that convent an olive grove in Loures.
Maria establishes another entail, bequeathing vineyards to Leonor de Palma, her niece, with the obligation to celebrate masses for her first husband's soul, Bartolomeu Drago, and those of his relatives, in the Sé de Lisboa.
