Contract and bond deed between Fernando Álvares da Cunha and Joana Vaz, his wife, and the officers of the brotherhood of Nossa Senhora da Vitória, in Lisboa. The former undertake to help the brotherhood in the construction of the new chapel, with alms of 300 cruzados, and the latter accept that the former, and their successors, could be buried in the chancel and in the chapel of the Evangelho, where they could also have their charges celebrated.

The former donated a public debt instrument, in the amount of 15 970 réis, paid at Casa da India, to the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Vitória, so that the brotherhood could spend it on pious works. The second authorize that the first could place a funerary inscription of the hermitage, in a prominent place.

Declaration deed

Declaration deed of the assets of the chapel and entail instituted by Fernando Álvares da Cunha, located in the church of Nossa Senhora da Vitória of Lisboa, issued by Doutor Gaspar Ferraz, provedor dos Hospitais, Capelas, Confrarias e Resíduos of Lisboa, following a petition presented by Joana Vaz. The administrator, after a demand with the entail, changed the properties previously entailed, requesting the declaration deed to add them to the books intended for the registration of the entail in Torre do Tombo and in the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Vitória, which she had already ordered to be made.
It also includes several documents relating to the purchase of real estate, incomes and public debt instruments, along with the realization of leases, prior to the establishment of the entail, dated between 1556-07-09 and 1570-10-14.

Provision

Royal provision for the appointment of Simão Gonçalves Preto, chanceler-mor, Doutor Jerónimo Pereira de Sá and licenciado Rui Fernandes de Castanhada to judge the division of assets left by Fernando Álvares da Cunha, which took place between Joana Vaz, his wife, and Lourenço Vasques da Cunha, administrator of the entail that the deceased had established, replacing the licenciados Henrique Jaques and Simão Cabral and Doutor Fernando de Pina. It also ordered that, taking into account the long time that the process had dragged on, they should proceed summarily in relation to it.

Provision royal addressed to António de Castilho, guarda-mor of Torre do Tombo, ordering that the will of Fernando Álvares da Cunha and the tombo of the assets of the entail instituted by him be delivered to Joana Vaz, his wife, as well that, after, he would receive the will and the new tombo again in the Torre, with the new assets that had been assigned to the entail.

Will of Fernando Álvares da Cunha, ordering his grave in the chapel of Santo António of the church of Nossa Senhora da Vitória, in Lisboa, as determined in a contract previously signed with the officers of the brotherhood of that church. He establishes an entail with his houses and other properties in Lisboa and its outskirts, with obligations of masses for his and his wife's soul. He designates as first administrator Lourenço da Cunha, who was to marry Ana da Cunha, daughter of Jorge da Cunha. A legitimate male child was to succeed him. If the marriage did not take place, the successor would be D. Pedro da Cunha, presidente na alçada. Joana Vaz, wife of the institutor, would have the usufruct of the proceeds of the entail's assets during her lifetime.
