Confirmation letter

Confirmation letter to Gil Eanes and Beatriz Eanes, his wife, of their will, dated from 1479-06-10, in which they found a chapel under the invocation of Jesus, in the church of Santa Cruz of Machico. Although the king does not approve the appointment of a cleric, Frei Afonso de Tavira and, after him, the vigário of Machico, were its administrators, so the king imposes the conditions in order for a layman to succeed them.
