Declaration deed

Declaration deed to the donation deed of the third part of André Álvares Manuel's assets to Isabel Luís, his wife, and Tomé Álvares, their son. The donor determines that Tomé Álvares, his son, can take possession of the assets of the two chapels, reserveding for himself and Isabel Luís, his wife, the usufructs during their lives.

Donation deed

Donation deed of the third part of André Álvares Manuel's assets to Isabel Luís, his wife, after his death. Among these assets was the vegetable garden of the Chafariz, with its ferregials. After her death, he was to be left to Tomé Álvares, their son, who was to choose one of his daughters to succeed him. The donation is made in the form of a chapel, and the charges must be fulfilled in the church of Nossa Senhora do Bispo, in Montemor-o-Novo. He administered a chapel instituted by Bárbara André, to which an olive grove was attached, located on the site of Carregal, nominating Tomé Álvares, his son, to succeed him in that administration.

Will

Will by which Bárbara André wanted to be buried in the church of São Francisco of Montemor-o-Novo, in the grave of her husband Bartolomeu Fernandes. She founded a chapel, incorporating all her immovable property to fulfill the pious charges in that convent. She designated her compadre André Álvares to be her last will executor and the first administrator of this entail. The administrator was responsible for appointing the successor.
