Court sentence judging the appeal presented by the plaintiff Martinho Afonso de Brito and the opponent João Afonso de Beja
against the defendants António de Beja and his wife Antónia de Brito. It orders that estate of Atouguia belongs to the chapel founded by Francisco Domingues de Beja in the church of Santa Clara in Beja; therefore the defendants must deliver the estate. The opponent is excluded from the succession of this property.

As the defendant doesn't accomplishes the pious obligations nor has tombo since four years, he is dismissed and the chapel belongs to the crown, with the incomes obtained since the sequestration was imposed. The crown must put an inscription in the chapel.

Denunciation warrant of administration on behalf of Luís Afonso de Mesquita allowing him to judicially demand, at his own expenses, the administration of the chapel founded by Francisco Domingues de Beja, after denouncing it vacant and during his lifetime only. The desembargadores do Paço should issue the respective administration letter, after presentation of this warrant and the sentence proving its vacancy to the Crown.

Will

Will of Francisco Domingues founding three entails: one in São João of Beja; one in Santa Clara of Beja; and another one in São Francisco of Lisbon. He appoints as his heirs his legitimate children, Fernando Domingues, Afonso Francisco and Leonor. Fernando Domingues will be the administrator of the chapels and also the tutor of his brother and sister.
