Acórdão

Acórdão em relação judging a civil process between the procurador da Coroa, plaintiff, against Isabel de Novais, wife of Diogo de Faria de Araújo, defendant, administrator of the chapel established by Martinho Dias de Ceira, in the church of São Bartolomeu of Coimbra.
The sentence absolves the defendant, for being a descendant of the institutor and, as such, legitimate administrator of the chapel. Even so, the sentence could not be registed, nor the sequestration of the assets lifted, until the defendant presented the tombo of the chapel's assets and the proof of fulfillment of the charges.

Exemplification of a will chart of Martinho Dias de Ceira, made by Afonso de Mancelos, tabelião, at the request of Vicente Afonso de Ceira, by the authority of Diogo Gonçalves, corregedor. The corregedor also recognizes, by witnesses, that Branca Dias, wife of Vicente Afonso de Ceira, was the daughter of Diogo Gonçalves, the institutor's brother.

Will chart

Will chart of Martinho Dias de Ceira, ordering himself buried in the church of São Bartolomeu of Coimbra. He appoints Teresa Eanes, his wife, his heir and executor. He also appoints her as administrator of Morgado da Serra. He entails what remains of his third part, afther legacies being fulfilled, as well as a third part of his father (Salvador Dias) and mother (Clara Dias) and instituted a chapel in the church of São Bartolomeu of Coimbra. He also appoints his wife to administer it. Diogo Gonçalves, the institutor's brother, must have succeeded him, and then his children. The morgado da Serra was also to be managed by his brother and later his nephews.
