The sentence absolves the defendant, for being a descendant of the institutor and, as such, legitimate administrator of the chapel. Even so, the sentence could not be registed, nor the sequestration of the assets lifted, until the defendant presented the tombo of the chapel's assets and the proof of fulfillment of the charges.

He also appoints her as administrator of Morgado da Serra. He entails what remains of his third part, afther legacies being fulfilled, as well as a third part of his father (Salvador Dias) and mother (Clara Dias) and instituted a chapel in the church of São Bartolomeu of Coimbra. He also appoints his wife to administer it. Diogo Gonçalves, the institutor's brother, must have succeeded him, and then his children. The morgado da Serra was also to be managed by his brother and later his nephews.
