Certificate of an institution of the chapel of Afonso Esteves, issued by João Galvão Barroso, escrivão da Conservatória of the University of Évora, at the request of António Borges de Figueiredo.

Donation deed by which Afonso Esteves donates the estates he had on the outskirts of Évora and Vimieiro, which he received on the death of his father, to Maria Esteves, his mother, and to Lourenço Esteves and Mem Esteves, his brothers. After the death of his mother he was to be left to his brothers, and after the death of the first to the second. After the death of the second he was to remain with his eldest son. The administrators had to fulfill the determined charges, celebrated in the church of Santa Maria de Vimieiro. If any of his brothers wanted to establish a chapel in that church, the assets had to be attached to it.
