Tombo

Tombo of the chapel instituted by João Martins Tinoco.
Composed by an exemplification of a will chart of the institutor, an approval deed and a codicil.
The documents come from a certificate issued by Vicente Ribeiro de Almeida, escrivão da provedoria de Lagos, taken from existing records in his registry office.

Will chart

Will chart of João Martins Tinoco, naming António de Palma, his brother-in-law, his executor, and ordering to be buried in the mother church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição in Portimão. He institutes a chapel, to which he entailed the assets that remain of the third part of his assests, after the legacies have been fulfilled, to fulfill his charges, and he names Francisco Tinoco, his son, as administrator. If he died without children, he would be left to Belchior Lopes, institutor's son.

Tinoco, João Martins (flor.1590-1591)
