Codicil

Codicil of Manuel Rodrigues Relego, ordering the celebration of the charges in his chapel, of the invocation of Santo André, located in the monastery of São Francisco of Tavira. He confirms the appointment of Bárbara Romana, his wife, as administrator, to whom Rui Mendes, his nephew, should succeed, if he accepted him. Otherwise, it would be who his wife nominate.

Will

Will of Manuel Rodrigues Relego, ordering his sepulture in his chapel of Jesus, in the monastery of São Francisco in Tavira. He appoints Bárbara Romana, his wife, as his heir, executor and administrator of the chapel. He orders the completion of the chapel, which had been ordered at the will of Maior Gonçalves, his mother, and also appoints the priest Rui Mendes Relego, his nephew, as administrator, if he is in the city. If not, Bárbara Romana should elect an old christian, layman or clergyman, to administer it as well.

Will chart of D. Maior Gonçalves, ordering her sepulture in the convent of São Francisco of Tavira, in the chapel she institutes. She appoints Manuel Rodrigues, her son, as her heir and executor, to administer it, being able to choose the invocation he preferred. The administrator should also appoints whoever he wants to be the chapel's patron. D. Maior Gonçalves orders the purchase of incomes, in the amount of 30 000 réis per year, to fulfill the charges.
She determines that after the death of her son, the chapel should be administered by Fernando Mendes, and after his death, by his children or closest relatives.
