Certificate of an account of the administration of the chapel of Beatriz Viana, in the church of Santo Estêvão of Alfama, issued by Leonardo da Costa Lobo, escrivão of the Provedoria das Capelas, Hospitais, Confrarias e Albergarias of Lisbon.

Codicil

Codicil by which Beatriz Viana added some changes to a will she previously made. She left the third of her assets to her son Mateus André. She founded a chapel, incorporating a house located in Rua Direita de São Miguel, in Lisboa, in order to fulfill the pious obligations in the church of Santo Estêvão de Alfama, where she wanted to be buried. The administrator should be appointed among his children and grandchildren by the previous one, with preference for choosing a women.

Court sentence judging the will of Maria Franca fulfiled by her brother, Gaspar Vaz Franco, and the masses she established entailed to the the free part she possessed in the houses with ovens in Rua Direita de S. Miguel de Alfama, which already had an obligation of two annual masses in the church of Santo Estêvão de Alfama.

Will (extract) by which Maria Franco, wife of Paulo Alves de Abreu, designates her brother, padre Gaspar Vaz Franco, as her universal heir. She bequeaths him several houses, two of them in rua de Mata Porcos and in beco do Outeiro de Alfama, entailed to two chapels, and another one with ovens entailed to an obligation of two annual masses in the church of Santo Estêvão de Alfama, Lisboa. She adds an obligation of three annual masses for her own soul to this last chapel, in the same church.
