Codicil

Codicil of António de Oliveira, revoking the exclusion of the son of the administration of the entail if he did not return from India. Even if Maria de Oliveira took care of the administration on the death of her father, she had to hand it over to her brother if he returned to Portugal within eight years.

Denunciation warrant of administration

Denunciation warrant of administration on behalf of João dos Santos de Oliveira allowing him to judicially demand, at his own expenses, the administration of the chapel founded by António de Oliveira e Bárbara Vicente, after denouncing its vacancy and during his lifetime only. The desembargadores do Paço should issue the respective administration letter, after presentation of this warrant and the sentence proving its vacancy to the Crown.

Will chart

Will chart by which António de Oliveira and his wife Bárbara Vicente wanted to be buried in the church of Chagas. They established an entail, incorporating the third part of their assets for the fulfillment of the pious charges. They designated their son Luís de Oliveira to be its first administrator and, after his death, his eldest son. If he did not return from India within 4 years, he could not possess this administration, which should be transferred to his sister Maria de Oliveira.
