Annexation deed by which doutor Luís de Foios de Sousa, fidalgo da Casa do Rei, cavaleiro professo da Ordem de Cristo and corregedor da comarca de Tomar, entails houses in Lisboa to the chapel established by his mother, D. Mariana de Sousa, which he administered. He had acquired an authorization from D. Álvaro Pires de Castro e Sousa, marquês de Cascais, because the houses were "foreiras in fatozim" to the entails of S. Mateus and Santo Eutrópio, of which he was administrator.
Contains processual documentation relating to the approval of this annexation, dated from 1657-04-30 to 1661-02-20, including the authorization from the marquês de Cascais.

Deed of sale by which Manuel de Oliveira de Figueiredo, porteiro da Câmara do Rei, and Filipa da Cruz, his wife, sell a "casal" in S. Quintino to doutor Luís de Foios de Sousa, cavaleiro professo da Ordem de Cristo and corregedor da comarca de Tomar, and to Estêvão de Brito de Foios, his brother. They entail it to the chapel established by their mother, D. Mariana de Sousa. Their father, desembargador Estêvão de Foios, had been the previous administrator, but, at the time of his death, he hadn't appointed an heir, and his two sons had both inherited the chapel's administration. They use money that had been left to them by capitão Domingos de Foios e Cabreira to employ in the acquisition of properties for the chapel.

Will by which D. Mariana de Sousa establishes a chapel, entailing a third of her assets with an obligation of 35 masses each year. She appoints Estêvão de Foios, her husband, as first administrator. He shall appoint one of their two sons, named Luís and Estêvão, to succeed him in the administration. If both his sons died before him, the succession should go to Jorge de Sousa da Silva, Mariana de Sousa's brothers, and his descendants or, if he has no succession, to Francisco de Foios, her stepson.
