Denunciation warrant of administration

Denunciation warrant of administration on behalf of Egídio da Cunha de Eça allowing him to pursue the judicial demand initiated by his deceased father, at his own expenses, regarding the administration of the chapels founded by Isabel Caiada and Justa de Gamboa, Tomás de Barros and Cristóvão da Costa, after denouncing their vacancies and during his lifetime only. The desembargadores do Paço should issue the respective administration letter, after presentation of this warrant and the sentence proving its vacancy to the Crown.

Contains an exemplification of a due diligence deed ordering the making of the tombo, dated 1601-11-12 (the original dated 1601-11-08); and juramentos dos louvados dated 1601-11-14 and 1601-11-17.

Will chart

Will chart by which Cristóvão da Costa, escrivão, expresses his wish to be buried in the chapel of Salvador of the cathedral of Lisboa, where his father, António da Costa, is buried. He appoints his brother, Pedro da Costa, as his heir, and orders him to buy properties with the remaining part of his assets, in order to establish an entail with the obligation of a weekly mass in his burial place. These properties shall then be inherited by his eldest son or, if he doesn't have descendance, by their closest relative.
Followed by approval deed, dated from the same day, and opening deed, dated 1528-08-08.
