Confirmation letter

Confirmation letter to Vasco Rodrigues of the administration of the chapel of S. Valentim, in the cathedral of Lisboa, founded by Joana Martins, for him and all his descendants. Once he isn't from the institutors lineage, he needs the royal licence to administrate the chapel. Vasco Rodrigues was appointed by his father, Vasco Gonçalves, quartenário in the cathedral of Lisboa, who had renounced on him by a letter dated from 1472-12-23, reserving the estate usufruct for himself until he dies.

Licence

Licence to Vasco Gonçalves enabling him to administer the chapel instituted by Joana Martins in the cathedral of Lisboa and also appointing the next administrator, despite his status as a cleric. Vasco Gonçalves had been appointed by Pedro Eanes, who had resigned because he was too old, so he could not administer it.
