It is declared that the chapel's institutor, widow of Vasco Pires, ordered in her will that every day of S. Vicente a mass had to be celebrated for her soul and for the soul of her husband. The pious obligation would be fulfilled with the revenues of a saltern ("marinha do Arneiro"). She gave the chapel's administration to Estêvão Pires, beneficiado na igreja de Aveiro, who subsequently transmitted it to one of his children.
