Administration letter on behalf of João Forjaz, morador na Ameixoeira of the administration of the Quinta do Arneiro, on the outskirts of Torres Vedras. This property was given by Vicente Eanes to Álvaro Dias, son of Diogo Bartolomeu, with the charge of maintaining a masse as determined by the institutor will. Due to his death, this farm passed to the administration of a descendant of the institutor, who gave it as a debt payment to Diogo de Abreu. Because he was a cleric not from the institutor’s lineage and didn’t had a legitimate title of possession nor fulfil the institutor’s charges, the administration of the property fell vacant to the Crown. After having seen a previous deed signed by him (a «prazme» deed) and the compromisso, the kings give the administration of the farm to the abovementioned João Forjaz. According to the monarch, the latter is different from the administration of São Silvestre instituted by the same Vicente Eanes in the parochial church of Alcainça.
